Air Movement and Control Association International, is a nonprofit organization providing certification of performance ratings for manufacturers of air system equipment, such as fans, louvers and dampers. It also tests and rates air curtains, airflow measurement stations, acoustic attenuators and related products. The association s air system components and air control devices are used in the industrial, commercial and residential markets. Air Movement and Control Association International publishes and distributes standards, references and application manuals for engineers involved in the use, selection, evaluation and troubleshooting of air system components. The organization offers a certified ratings program that tests products in its laboratory and provides ratings in accordance to international standards and requirements. It is based in Arlington Heights, Ill.
