Aguamiel means "honey-water" and refers to the agave juice that was used in religious rites by the Aztecs. Taking more than just its name from Mexican tradition, it serves up authentic Mexican fare in Clarendon Hills, using only a wood-burning grill to create its dishes. In addition, the food is kept traditional by using only corn tortillas in place of flour and crema Mexicana in place of sour cream. The menu features flautas, tacos, tamales, fajitas and much more, along with margaritas and other cocktails at the bar.
