Affton Fabricating and Welding Company, founded in 1956, is a family-operated steel fabricating and welding company serving the Midwest. The company specializes in fabrication and installation of steel structures, stairs, steel joists, hand rails, ladders and anchor bolts. Affton provides its services for civic, retail, commercial and industrial projects. Its clients include the Richmond Heights Community Center, Waterloo Plaza, Target, Walgreens, Kraft Foods warehouse, Universe Systems, Washington Business Center and Volvo Trucks of St. Louis. It is one of the leading structural steel fabricators in the East St. Louis, Ill., and its production team includes more than 20 fabricators.
