The army of tiny cupcakes under the glass counter at Tiny Dog Cupcake are issuing cupcake lovers a challenge: the motto of this new cupcake is, "Tiny dogs are not afraid to take on things bigger than themselves." Evanston has been enthusiastically taking on the cupcakes here since the opening in late 2010. With flavors like vanilla fudge, triple chocolate and coconut supreme, it's no surprise that this bakery has hit the local sweet spot where it counts. Tiny Dog wants to be socially responsible and will soon allow patrons to vote on charities to which ones the bakery will donate part of its proceeds. It's not all serious, though. Coming next year: cupcakes specially made for actual tiny dogs.
