The Illinois Association of Hispanic State Employees (IAHSE) has been a leading advocate for Latinos in state employment and community services since 1987. Led by a volunteer Board of Directors, IAHSE is the first Hispanic state employees association dedicated to protecting the rights of Hispanic state employees and promoting diversity in the workplace.
As a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization, IAHSE's mission is to advocate for the employment, educational, and professional development of Latino state employees, while ensuring quality services to Latino communities in Illinois. Through their advocacy efforts, IAHSE works to address issues affecting Latinos in state employment, formulate recommendations to enhance Hispanic employment plans, and remove barriers to create greater opportunities for Hispanic applicants and employees throughout the state.
