Massage has been applied for pain relief and relaxation for thousands of years – it is in our human nature to touch and be touched. Today’s culture revolves around work, computers, cell phones, busy highways and excessive stimulation, and we tend to disconnect ourselves from the physical bodies in which we move through this world. The impact of stress on the body and mind is significant and often leads to imbalance, illness and dis-ease if left untreated. Massage brings us back to our breath, centers us and slows down time so we may appreciate how good we can really feel.
