History
As a lumber yard, which employed just four people, it was tucked in to a small street with no frontage at all. However in 2009 Pro X moved to a new location at the intersection HWY 95 and HWY 2. Originally this location (way back when) was designed as a grocery store, which produced some unique challenges to overcome. Also it hadn't been updated (i.e painted or cleaned) since 1970. After a good bit of spit and polish this location has become a cheerful bustling place that employ's over 25 people! We've expanded our inventory to include not only lumber and other building supplies, but all forms of home decor as well (cabinets, sinks, light fixtures and bathroom vanities). We're the only store in the area which stocks and sells appliances (Maytag, Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid) and have a dedicated team who will help design your dream kitchen. Our goal is to provide a competent and friendly service which can compete with the box stores, while holding onto our small town roots.
