Harding Family Center provides comprehensive services that enable families with limited resources to support themselves and their children's educational, social and physical development needs. The center is located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and is operated and governed by North Idaho College. It organizes educational assistance programs and offers a curriculum that includes English, reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, science and history. It also provides studies in other subjects that include health and physical education and fine and performing arts. The center organizes various programs for fostering healthy development in low-income children 3 and 4 years of age. It additionally recruits parents and community members for its social and fundraising programs. Parents are involved in classroom activities as part of the Head Start program s governing body.
