Operational for more than 80 years, North Idaho College is a community-based college, providing a wide range of academic, professional, technical, workforce training and noncredit programs. Located in Coeur d Alene, Idaho, NIC enrolls more than 4,500 students annually. Spread on more than 45-acres of land, the college has state-of-the-art classroom buildings and athletic arenas. Approved by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, and National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, NIC s partners include the University of Idaho, Lewis-Clark State College and Idaho State University. The college s courses include American racial and multicultural studies, art and art history, biology, biomedical technology, integrative studies, classics, foreign languages and literatures, exercise science, environmental studies, and family and social service. It also offers courses in Hispanic studies, linguistics, business management, media communications, medieval studies, neuroscience, and philosophy and religion.
