Mission Aviation Fellowship is an aviation, communications and technology ministry that serves over 1,000 Christian and nongovernment organizations worldwide. With a fleet of more than 130 bush aircraft, the agency serves over 50 countries with an average of nearly 280 flights daily across Africa, Asia, Eurasia and Latin America. Founded in 1945, it transports medical personnel, medicines and relief supplies, as well as conducts emergency medical evacuations in remote areas. Mission Aviation Fellowship also provides relief supplies and agency personnel to disaster areas. The agency offers e-mail, fax and voice communication solutions through high-speed Internet connections. Its Learning Technologies division provides digital publishing and distance education services in remote areas. Mission Aviation Fellowship is a member of Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
