Public Schools of Hawaii
Founded in 1986, the Public Schools of Hawaii Foundation is a community-based nonprofit corporation that raises funds for the students of public schools in Hawaii. Since its inception, the corporation has granted more than $2,000,000 to teachers and schools for innovative instructional ideas that improve student learning. It provides travel grants for students to compete at national conferences and perform at invitational conferences. The Public Schools of Hawaii Foundation organizes a fundraising activity every year by the name, Kulia I Ka Nu'u Annual Banquet, in which it honors public school graduates and teachers. The Public Schools of Hawaii Foundation is located in Honolulu.
