The Outrigger Canoe Club, located in Honolulu, is a facility that fosters and promotes Hawaiian water sports. The club operates the longest continuous canoe paddling event in Hawaii and the only wave-riding contest on the Oahu Canoe Racing Association s schedule. The other water competitions sponsored by the club include the Cline Mann Paddleboard Race, Castle Swim and the Dad Center Distance race for women. It has a membership of more than 4,000 people. It also operates a fitness center and offers locker rooms. Its restaurant, the Koa Lanai, offers a formal dining experience. The menu is updated regularly and features the chef's fresh catch of the day and other pasta and vegetarian specials.
