Founded in 1999, Kea`au High School serves students from grade nine through grade 12. Located in Keaau, Hawaii, the school offers an extensive curriculum that includes English, mathematics, health, guidance, physical education, science, social students, and career and technical education. Additionally, the school organizes a variety of cocurricular activities and clubs, such as automobile club, the Math League, the National Honor Society, LifeSmarts, K-Paws and Botball Robotics. Its sports activities include air riflery, bowling, cheerleading, cross country, softball, volleyball, football, wrestling, soccer, tennis and paddling. Its library offers a collection of more than 8,000 fiction and nonfiction books, over 800 biographies and nearly 750 Hawaiian books. Its library also offers more than 100 children s picture books and over 600 school-related videos and DVDs.
