Founded in 1971 by C. Jack Wolfe, Jack Wolfe Insurance began as a life insurance agency. Merging their agencies with Jack Wolfe Insurance in 1982, current owners and Ernie Jerves brought a full service spectrum to the agency. Construction insurance, surety bonds, gas dealers insurance, main street business insurance and home and automobile specialties became the mainstay of the agency. The agency enjoys a support staff that averages over 10 years of insurance industry experience. Still located in their original building in Kailua, Jack Wolfe Insurance's owners, producers and staff ably service customers throughout the Hawaiian Islands. John, a Vietnam veteran and graduate of Kailua High School and the University of Hawaii, has been in the Hawaii Insurance Industry since 1976. In 1981 John, and his partner Larry Stubblefield, joined with Ernie Jerves and Jack Wolfe Insurance. John's community service has entailed PTSA, Little League, AYSO and fund raising for Kalima o Maui along with active membership in the Professional Insurance Agents of Hawaii, Hawaii Independent Insurance Agents, GCA and ABC. John, along with Larry, was named the 1998 Honolulu minority Small Business advocate of the year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. John's wife, two of his children and his grandchildren reside in Kailua. Two of his children reside on the mainland. He enjoys the beach, golf and his grandchildren. Larry and John Junk merged their insurance agency with Jack Wolfe Insurance in 1981. Larry's field of expertise is Construction Insurance and Surety Bonds. Larry and his wife, Alexis reside in Kailua. Their son currently attends The Ohio State University. Larry lists his hobbies as furniture making, golf and reading. His community service consists of Board membership and fundraising for Kalima o Maui, Junior Golf, Hawaii Independent Insurance Agents, GCA, ABC and the PIA. A Roosevelt High School graduate and Vietnam era 100th Battalion 442nd Infantry veteran, Ernie has been involved in the Insurance Industry since 1972. After 10 years as a State Farm agent Ernie, along with John Junk and Larry Stubblefield, joined Jack Wolfe Insurance. Ernie, considered an expert in insuring Underground Storage Tanks, specializes in service station and garage operations as well as maintaining his expertise with the personal automobile and homeowner insurance fields. Ernie lives in Kaneohe and lists biking, weightlifting, cars, and wine as hobbies. His children and grandchildren are spread across the nation from New York to Puna.
