Founded in 1964, Hawaii Job Corps Center is a nonprofit organization, which provides vocation education and residential training programs to people in the ages of 16 to 24. Its programs are funded by the United States Congress and administered by the Department of Labor. The center offers employment assistance career counseling and transition support to its students after they graduate from the program. It provides opportunities to earn a high school diploma, general equivalency diploma and get technical training. The center offers online resources, references and information brochures. Its campus, located in Waimanalo, Hawaii, has dinning and recreational facilities.
