Daihonzan Chozen-ji is a private Zen temple. Visitors are allowed only by appointment or during our Zen Art Show & Open House once a year. Appointments can be made online or by phone. I thought I would find a nice, chill Zen temple to meditate and contemplate the meaning of life. I went to a few temples on Maui and figured I'd get that happy hippie vibe here. Boy was I wrong....
