Established in 1985 by David Weinschel and Douglas Armstrong, Celebrations Catering began by opening a retail storefront that served breakfast and lunch on a daily basis. Within several months Celebrations began its corporate catering and event catering divisions, as well as the in-flight catering division. The corporate catering division began daily breakfast and lunch deliveries to the Northern Virginia Technology Corridor, becoming a trendsetter in the region. The event catering division began catering to the diverse tastes of the northern Virginia, the District of Columbia and metropolitan Maryland areas. The in-flight catering division was the exclusive caterer for all of the private air traffic at Washington Dulles International Airport, catering to corporate executives, celebrities and domestic and foreign VIPs. Celebrations Catering has a location in Makawao, Hawaii.
