This neighborhood library houses books, videos, CDs, audio-cassettes, periodicals, large-print books, numerous reference materials and a colorful children's book section. The library is located on the west side of Booker T. Washington High School at Martin Luther King Jr. and Morris Brown drives. It is one of 25 branches in the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System slated for renovation or expansion in 2012 and 2013. In addition to the renovations, the system plans to build a new $85 million central library and eight new branch libraries.
