We are a group of board certified, fellowship trained Vascular Interventional Physicians, Dr. Tim Daniel and Dr. Craig Yokley. We specialize in minimally invasive procedures; that is, we use very small incisions to do procedures guided by x-rays, ultrasound, or CAT scanners. Many of these procedures are alternatives to conventional open surgery, and have the advantage of being safer, with less recovery time. Most of our procedures are outpatient or require only overnight hospitalization. We treat a wide range of diseases, including peripheral vascular disease, peripheral arterial disease (PVD,PAD), carotid artery stenosis (CAS), liver disease including cirrhosis and liver cancer, renal disease including renal vascular hypertension and renal cancer, uterine fibroids, venous disease, lung disease, biopsy of all organ systems, venous access including all forms of hemodialysis access and ports, and many other procedures. Our emphasis is on peripheral vascular disease. We offer the whole range of latest technology for treating claudication (vascular) leg pain or tissue loss of the legs. This includes angioplasty, stents, stent-grafts for aneurysms (EVAR), Silverhawk atherectomy, laser atherectomy, and carotid stents. We are experts in treating uterine fibroids with uterine artery embolization, or uterine fiboid embolization (UAE, UFE). This is a minimally invasive, organ saving outpatient procedure for resolving the symptoms associated with fibroids, including excessive bleeding, pain and bulk symptoms. We are located in beautiful Thomasville, Georgia, and serve the surrounding communities including southwest Georgia, north Florida, and southeast Alabama. Many of our patients travel from Valdosta, Bainbridge, Albany, Tifton, Cairo, Quitman, Moultrie, Camilla, Tallahassee, Lake City, Live Oak, and Dothan. We see patients in our weekly clinic, have full admission privileges and consultation services at John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital. Physicians who refer to our clinic can expect timely and skillful treatment of their patients, as well as communication letters at each point of contact with the patients. Welcome to VITA.
