Covering northwest Georgia counties, the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development office in Cartersville, located in Suite A, provides low-rate loans and grants to communities that provide fresh water, sewer and electrical systems. The agency works with community leaders at their request and partners with businesses, including banks, mortgage brokers and other lenders.
In addition, the office helps low-income families buy first homes, developers provide low-income housing for the elderly and disabled, and small and new businesses create and keep employment opportunities.
