University of Georgia Libraries, located in Athens, Ga., include three principal facilities on the university campus in Athens, comprising the main library, the science library and the student learning center. The libraries are also responsible for a number of smaller on-campus libraries, reading rooms and materials centers. They collaborate with several University of Georgia research facilities throughout the state. Together, the libraries own more than four million volumes and over six million microform units, and also subscribe to more than 7,000 print journals. They provide online access to more than 35,000 full-text journals, and over 400,000 full-text e-books. UGA Libraries is a member of the Association of Research Libraries.
