The Day Star Tabernacle of the Bright Star Church is a large church located in the southern part of Douglasville. As a matter of fact, it was a growing congregation that brought the church here from Carroll County in 1995. Led by Apostle H. L. Horton, the church has much to offer the community, including a worship service and School of the Scriptures on Sunday mornings and a Wednesday night Bible study. During the week, the church offers full-time daycare for children ages six weeks to four years. The friendly staff wants to make sure everyone in the community knows they are welcome to attend anytime.
