Albany ARC was founded in 1963 to advocate on the behalf of individuals with mental disabilities. It is an advocacy resource center that serves individuals with a range of disabilities and supportive living needs. The center s case management program offers community coordination for information, resources, advice and referrals for persons with disabilities. Albany ARC provides residential care services in group, care provider and personal support homes, as well as semi-independent and independent apartments. Its advocacy program assists parents of children with disabilities and resolves special education disputes and disagreements. The center specializes in judevine autism training programs.
