Owens-Thomas House is a historic building that displays English Regency architecture. It is owned and maintained by The Telfair Museum of Art, which was established in 1886. The Telfair Museum of Art operates the Telfair Academy of Arts and Sciences, which is a national historic landmark building. It also maintains the Jepson Center for the Arts, a more than 60,000-square-foot museum that features an auditorium, caf , museum store, gallery spaces, educational resources, art storage facilities and sculpture gardens. The museum provides a range of exhibitions and educational programs. The Telfair Museum of Art houses a collection of over 4,500 works of art from the United States, Europe and Asia under historic buildings, fine arts and decorative arts categories.
