History2012 - HR Biz opened as a tenant in Chattanooga's BDC/INCubator. 2014 - Lynn Talbott received a volunteer Appreciation Award from the TSBDC. 2015 - Lynn Talbott was recognized as a Rising Star by the TSBDC and won the Small Business Person of the Year Award for Chattanooga. 2016 - HR Biz moved to their own property off Dayton Boulevard. 2019 - HR Biz won the Chattanooga Chamber Small Business of the Year Award in the 1-20 employees category.SpecialtiesLynn Talbott, MBA, is the President and Founder of HR Biz. She and her team offer full-charge bookkeeping and QuickBooks training, along with HR services. HR Biz works with 150+ companies in the Chattanooga area and beyond. They won the 2019 Small Business of the Year Award from the Chattanooga Chamber, in the 1-20 employees category. Lynn is a professional trainer and coach, and her signature turnkey approach provides businesses with a solid foundation of bookkeeping and support, as well as tax management, set-up and training. Lynn also specializes in Human Resources Management and Training and enjoys assisting her clients with difficult HR issues from workplace harassment, training, and the creation and implementation of company policies. She was a Corporate Trainer and HR Manager for a fortune 500 Company in Seattle, Washington before moving to Chattanooga. She holds a BS in Business with a concentration in HR Management, and an MBA from Bryan College. Lynn teaches QuickBooks and Bookkeeping classes through Chattanooga's Small Business Development Center.
