Spencer I. Kozinn, M.D., received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Columbia University in New York City, New York, followed by a medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta where he graduated cum laude honors and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He performed his residency in surgery and urology at Lahey Clinic in Massachusetts and then completed his fellowship in urologic oncology and robotic surgery at City of Hope Medical Center in California. As an experienced urologic, laparoscopic and robotic surgeon, Dr. Kozinn has a special interest in using advanced technology to treat urological cancers, malformations of the urinary tract, kidney stones and other benign conditions. He has expertise in managing prostate cancer, kidney cancer, superficial and muscle invasive bladder cancer, and testicular cancer (including post chemotherapy retroperitoneal lymph node dissection). Additionally, he is highly skilled in continent urinary diversion, including neobladders and Indiana pouches. Dr. Kozinn is a member of the American Urological Association and has received numerous awards and authored many peer-reviewed urology publications. In addition to English, Dr. Kozinn speaks conversational Spanish. Dr. Kozinn accepts new patients and most insurance plans.
