HistoryGriffin Jewelers, Inc. began as a dream of Raymond Hortman's when he was a teenaged boy working for a large chain jeweler located in Griffin. He was sent by them to Stewarts Jewelry School in Florida. Raymond worked for several large jewelery chains both as a jewler and in sales management. He married the former Dana Dooley of Pike County Georgia in 1983. Dana was in cosmetic sales before coming to work for Raymond as sales manager and office manager. Raymond and Dana have two daughters Deanna and Tiffani. Our present location at 1435 North Expressway has been open for 3 years. Prior to that we were located in the Kroger Shopping center. During our many years in business we have had the priviledge to know generations of Griffin families.
