Here, you can rent a cotton candy machine or place settings for a few dozen of your closest friends. The attraction, though, is next door at Ready Rent-All, which has the same owner as RSVP. On display inside this construction tool rental firm are an enormous and antique two-person-operated Henry Disston chainsaw that includes a mysterious Pinocchio-like projection at the end of the chain armature ("That's a handle. Where the second operator hangs on," a staff person said) and a relatively tiny but also antique and beautiful Ford pickup truck in basic black.
Meanwhile, back at RSVP, for people who need to put on a wedding or a banquet or a carnival (or a combination of all three), potential customers can find rentable tents, tables, chairs, linens, dance floors, archway settings, glassware, flatware, chafing dishes, cake stands, beverage equipment, popcorn and snow-cone machines, moonwalks and helium tanks. RSVP also sells disposable party supplies including balloons, plates, napkins and tablecloths.
