The Richmond Hill Convention and Visitors Bureau is located in the beautiful Richmond Hill City Center 520 Cedar Street, GA Richmond Hill The regularly scheduled meeting of the Richmond Hill Convention and Visitors Bureau is held on the Third Wednesday of each month at 8: 30am in the Board Room at the Richmond Hill City Center. Please call 912-756-2676 for more information. The Richmond Hill CVB consists of a seven member Board of Directors and staff. The mission of the CVB is to market and promote Richmond Hill as a competitive meeting and leisure destination among its peers, encompassing its unique blend of culture and heritage in a manner that supports the interests of both our local hospitality industry and our residents, thereby encouraging economic growth for our community. The members of the Board are appointed yearly by the Mayor of Richmond Hill. Ms. Trout is the Director of Sales and Marketing for the StationXchange in Richmond Hill. Ms. Trout obtained a Bachelors Degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor as a Communications major with a minor in Mass Communication and Journalism. Mr. Swami is owner and President of the Comfort Suites hotel in Richmond Hill. He has been a member of the Richmond Hill CVB since 2005. His operates multiple hotels in Richmond Hill and the surrounding area. He is heavily involved in the non-profit organization B.A.P.S., an organization who's goal is to help to improve the lives of people. Ms. Dilmore is the owner of MPG, Inc, an event planning company here in Richmond Hill. She was appointed to the Richmond Hill CVB in 2009. Ms. McIntyre is the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Savannah Marriot Riverfront Hotel in Savannah, and a resident of Richmond Hill. She also serves as the Chair of the Savannah CVB Board of Directors, immediate past president of the Tourism Leadership Council, Secretary of the Savannah Waterfront Association Board of Directors, and Advisory Board of the Woodville-Tomkins Technical and Career Institute. Ms. McIntyre has served on numerous boards and committees related to tourism, tourism education and destination marketing and community service. This gives her unique insight into new and innovative ways to market the area and Richmond Hill. Ms. McIntyre was appointed to the Richmond Hill CVB in 2008. Andy Uhlig is Director of Client Relations ITI Marketing, Inc, a new media and technology company serving the travel industry, and was appointed to the Richmond Hill CVB in 2009. He served as President, Vice President and Treasurer of the Georgia Coast Travel Association since 2003 and has spent over fifteen years serving the travel industry in the capacity of destination and hospitality marketing. As former Director of Tour & Leisure Travel at the Savannah Convention & Visitors Bureau, he brings expertise and insight to the tourism marketing needs of the greater Savannah area, to the Richmond Hill Convention and Visitors Bureau. Mr. Scott is the DIrector of Food and Beverage at the Ford Plantation. He was appointed to the Richmond Hill CVB in 2009. Ms. Glazer is the Editor of Richmond Hill Reflections magazine. She was appointed to the Richmond Hill CVB in 2010. Ms. Sheppard was hired by the members of the CVB Board of Directors in the summer of 2008. As Executive Director, she is responsible for the day to day operations of the CVB, as well as any special projects that the Board takes on. Ms. Sheppard is a resident of Richmond Hill, and is very active in the community. She has a Masters Degree in Organizational Management and a BS in organizational Leadership and Human Development. Her prior business experiences include positions as Training Manager, Engineering Lead, and Sales/Project Manager for an international Vertical Transportation company.
