HistoryAbell Images began as Abell Creative, LLC, a self owned photography and graphic design business that began in 1999; Abell Creative, LLC was incorporated in 2002. My background in photography and graphic design came while attending graphic design school at the University of Georgia. The design school at UGA was heavily drawing based and highly competitive, accepting app 10% of the applicants annually. I went on to intern at CNN and CNN International. Late 2001, I took a position as the creative designer for the Macon Knights of af2. During my tenure with the Knights, I produced many award-winning photographs and graphic design pieces. Sine 2009, I have provided photographer as a commercial NFL photographer and to such notable clients as the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Atlanta Championship Hosting Committee and MBUSA, to name a few. In fall of 2019, my family and I relocated back to the Middle Georgia area in he small town of Kathleen which is part of the great Warner Robins, GA area.SpecialtiesSports Photography: I have been producing national-award winning sports photography since 2002. I have held positions as the team photographer for the Atlanta Braves and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and I have been a commercial NFL photographer since 2004. I have covered multiple championships such as the Super Bowl, World Series, CFP National Championship, BCA National Championship and more. I have covered sports assignments for: AP Images, Getty, Wire Images and USA Today. My images have been featured in editorial and commercial applications across the country and on the covers and in the pages of nearly every sports publication ever produced. Personal sports clients include: Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge Golf Tournament, Atlanta Championship Host Committee (Super Bowl LIII, 2018 CFP National Championship and pre 2020 Final Four imagery), Naismith Awards, Athlon Sports, Naismith Invitational Golf Tournament, Dodd Trophy, College Football Hall of Fame, Georgia Tech, Georgia State and more. Additional skills include a vast understanding of lighting to providing player headshots, environmental portraits and team photos. I have provided one of all of these at: the Atlanta Braves, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, The University of Georgia, the University of Alabama, Clemson, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Georgia State and the Macon Knights, among others.
