Piedmont Rape Crisis Center seeks to end sexual assault through empowering victims to become survivors through advocacy, support, community awareness and education in Barrow, Jackson and Banks counties.
The center worked with more than 75 victims in 2010.
The organization providesa number of services for survivors of sexual violence and their families, including crisis counseling, sexual assault exam accompaniment, personal advocacy, victim compensation information and assistance, criminal justice support, information and referrals, legal advocacy and follow-up.
