People TV is a nonprofit organization that strives to provide public access to media. People TV, which can be seen on cable channel 24, gives Atlanta citizens an equal opportunity to create public access programming. The organization offers technical training and the equipment and facilities to produce non-commercial programming for the city of Atlanta. People TV is contracted by the city of Atlanta to provide its public access cable channel, but it is not a city entity. People TV receives funding from Comcast Cable TV as well as from donations, grants and fees collected for technical training.
