Dr. Goltzer is a California native and received his undergraduate degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. He then attended the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where he received his medical degree and graduated with research distinction. Between the 3rd and 4th years of medical school, Dr. Goltzer was awarded with a highly competitive funded research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, in Bethesda, Maryland, where he studied knee biomechanics. Following medical school, Dr. Goltzer completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Arizona, in Phoenix.
