HistoryThe roots of the present company date back to 1863 with the founding of the J.W. Burke Printing Company in Macon, Georgia. The modern history of the company began in the early 1960's with the closure of the Burke Company. Southern Press, Inc. purchased much of its equipment and incorporated many Burke employees and customers into their business. Several ownerships and name changes continued until the business was purchased in 1981 by Mercer University. The present owners purchased the Company from Mercer University in 1987. The Company was located at 1506 Hardeman Avenue in Macon, Georgia from the early 1960's until it's relocation in February of 2001 to our present facility on San Carlos Drive and continues to operate under the ownership of David Canady, President and CEO.SpecialtiesImedia Group is the premiere graphic design, printing and publishing company in Central Georgia.
