Northside High School, founded in 2002, offers education to students in grades nine through 12. It is affiliated with the Muscogee County School District and has an enrollment of more than 1,300 students. The school provides a college preparatory curriculum that includes mathematics, science, geography, family and consumer sciences and computers and physical education. It provides special programs in architecture, information technology, digital electronics and engineering design. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include marching band, choral and band festivals, newspaper, yearbook, science Olympiad, literary magazine, odyssey of the mind, engineering fair and robotics competition. It also organizes field trips and provides scholarships and foreign travel opportunities to students. The various club activities offered by the school include interact, chess, French National Honor Society, Spanish, science and engineering clubs. Northside High School is located in Columbus, Ga.
