Since 1998, Mt. Bethel Christian Academy has offered a Christ-centered education to students through the 8th grade. The curriculum incorporates an evangelical perspective. Although the school is a ministry of the Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, students are accepted from all denominations.

Cumberland Christian Academy

Cumberland Christian Academy consists of preschool through high school and has three locations. The Clay Road location houses the preschool and elementary classes. The school, which has been in operation for more than 20 years, began as just a group of Smyrna parents who prayed and were led to begin their own independent school. Their goal is to educate students both academically and spiritually. Afterschool care is also provided for kindergarten through fifth grade students. Besides educating within the classroom, CCA elementary students also travel on field trips to places such as Sun Valley Beach, Tellus Science Museum and the Atlanta Zoo. Students in fourth and fifth grades participate in overnight field trips to places such as Okefenokee Swamp and Space Camp.
