iAchieve Virtual Academy is an online Forsyth County School program for students in grades 6 though twelve. Students enrolled in the iAchieve academy do their learning at home, but are part of the FCS system. The curriculum is approved by the school district and state of Georgia for earning middle and high school credits that can lead to a high school diploma from the county.
During the normal school day, there are scheduled times that students will have the ability to interact with a teacher and other students in a virtual classroom. Teachers also are available by phone and e-mail, and students are encouraged to contact their teachers with any of their questions. Each student's progress is measured through quizzes, written essays, assignments, projects and semester exams. Unfortunately, iAchieve students are not eligible to participate in any extracurricular activities such as sports at any Forsyth Country high school.
