For more than three decades, the Humane Society of Forsyth County, a NO-KILL shelter, has been the advocate for cats and dogs in the Cumming community. The goal of the HSFC is to make sure all abandoned cats, dogs, kittens and puppies within Forsyth County, as well as the areas of Roswell, North Fulton, John's Creek and Alpharetta, are treated humanely. The people at the shelter also make sure the animals are adopted out to caring, loving homes, and are no longer victims of cruelty and suffering. The dedicated volunteers, office staff, and experienced veterinarians all work together to provide a healthy, stable environment for the many cats and dogs at the facility. The shelter is conveniently located east of Georgia 400 on Keith Bridge Road.
