Dr. Zeiad Hussain is a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist with a wide experience in Interventional Radiology and Interventional Oncology. He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology (DABR) and the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR).He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree (MB ChB) at Baghdad University in Iraq and went on to receive extensive education in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology in both the UK and the United States. He earned Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCS) and a Doctorate of Medical Science at the University of York before obtaining the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) after 5 years of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology residency at the Guys and St. Thomas Hospitals in the UK. In the United States, he completed Interventional Radiology fellowships at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System.Dr. Hussain has held several esteemed positions in Interventional Radiology. He has served as Assistant Professor and Chief of Vascular & Interventional Radiology Department at USA Health University Hospital in Alabama, and Chair of Early Specialization in Interventional Radiology (ESIR) Committee at the University of South Alabama. He also acted as an Interventional Radiologist consultant for health systems in Qatar and the UK.In addition to Dr. Hussains clinical experience, his academic publications are extensive, having cooperated on studies published in Interventional Radiology, Gastrointestinal, Oncology, and Surgical journals. Dr. Hussain has been an invited speaker at a variety of Medical Society conferences.Having travelled, trained, and practiced Interventional Radiology in various health systems and countries across the world, but mainly in the United States, Dr. Hussain gained broad experience and knowledge about how different health systems function and adapt to their local challenges. He is passionate about learning from new opportunities and working to improve patient care. Dr. Hussain is fluent in English and Arabic.
