History
Flint River Communications began in 1981 under the name Flint Cable Television where they offered basic cable services to customers residing in the areas of Butler, Reynolds and Roberta Georgia. Poised for growth in 1985, Flint River Communications acquired a cable system in Buena Vista, followed by systems in Yatesville and Culloden Georgia in 1993. A new phase of expansion began in 2006 with Flint's digital service offerings that allowed for up to a 68 channel capacity. These digital services were delivered to its most densely populated markets in Rural Georgia.
