Welcome to Fideles Christian School Fideles Christian School is a University Model * school combining the best features of a traditional classroom education with the strengths of parent-led home schooling for the goal of academic excellence within the framework of Christian discipleship. Fideles Christian School seeks to partner with home schooling parents to provide: Grade level assessment and curriculum, direction and planning, classroom instruction, weekly lesson plans, daily assignments, periodic testing, class projects, labs, field trips, parties, grade reports, standardized testing, evaluation, and consultation. For the students it is our goal to provide: fellowship, encouragement, challenge, coaching, positive competition, and accountability. We accomplish this through two days ( elementary ) or three days ( high school ) per week of teacher-led classroom instruction with the remaining days of satellite home school assignments done under the encouraging supervision of the parents. The parents partner with the school to mentor their child in Christian behavior, disciplined work habits, and to monitor their progress. The essential core subjects of math, English ( grammar, vocabulary, literature, and composition ), science, history, and Spanish are regularly offered. Elective courses in art, journalism ( newspaper/yearbook ), Bible, drama/theater, speech and debate, study skills, S.A.T. preparation, and career testing and exploration among others will be offered on a yearly and semester basis as classes are supported. Also, we have formed Ranger Athletics to build and develop our sports program for Fideles and other interested local students. We are accepting transfer students in some classes for the 2009/2010 school year and beginning to take names to schedule tours for the 2010/2011 school year in classes K-12.
