DeKalb Workforce Development, also known as DWD, is a nonprofit government agency. It serves adults and dislocated workers. DeKalb Workforce Development also provides individual career exploration, assessment and counseling services. It offers employment assistance to military veterans. The agency provides graduate degree programs to senior citizens through Georgia Power. DeKalb Workforce Development operates a youth unit that offers career development opportunities to individuals between the ages of 14 and 21. It provides case management and eligibility determination services. The agency is a division of the government of DeKalb County in Georgia.
