CrossRoads Grocery is the oldest, continuously run store in Gilmer County. Established in 1907, it continues to be a hub of business and social activity in the heart of "Cartecay". You will find typical convenience store items such as snacks and drinks, fishing and picnic supplies, firewood, ice, non-ethanol gasolines (87 and 93 octane), diesel fuel, and Appalachian Trail items. (CrossRoads is the closest store to the southern terminus of the A.T.) The cafe side of CrossRoads offers deli sandwiches, salads, BBQ and Brunswick stew, hot dogs, burgers and pizza. A special treat is our Ice Cream from Ashby's of Michigan. We offer the last "country store" experience in the Ellijay area. "Come see us...!"
