History
The Court Street Livery started as an open air barn for feeding and quartering horses, fixing wagons, and blacksmithery. It was enclosed in about 1900 and served many purposes over the years. It was restored as an event venue in 2003.
Specialties
The Court Street Livery is a restored 1890s barn with high, vaulted pine-plank ceilings, exposed brick walls, decorative lighting, and a large open space with four wooden columns that easily accommodates many different arrangements. The Livery (plus the town of Washington, GA) can help make your wedding, reunion, party or other event wonderful. We're a largely DIY venue which makes us very affordable.
