Founded in 2006, The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta offers grants in arts and culture, community development, civic affairs, education, health, religion and human services areas. It works to bring together donors, nonprofit organizations and community leaders who can provide support services to children and families with special needs. The foundation has awarded more than 4,600 grants worth over $63 million to various nonprofit organizations. It also manages and administers project funds, as well offers scholarships and endowments. The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta provides arts loan, neighborhood and Atlanta AIDS partnership funds, and arts stabilization toolbox and managing for excellence awards. It offers technical assistance programs and maintains an advisory committee. The foundation is located in Atlanta.
