CBSI was founded in 1985 by Caroline Kurilec with the help of an angel investor. Caroline had over 20 years of industry experience and a desire to build a better business than those for which she had worked. She focused on her key strength which was delivering outstanding customer service. After 26 years in business, CBSI had grown from nothing to almost 700 accounts with little more than word of mouth advertising. Customer referrals actually account for 90% of CBSI's accounts today. In 2011, CBSI was acquired by Jeff Anderson, Caroline's son-in-law. While trying to grow the business to new levels, Jeff remains committed to delivering the same high quality service for which CBSI has become known. Jeff is a veteran of the US Army and proudly served in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
