The Columbus Public Library, also known as CPL, features a range of reference materials and educational resources on various topics. The library operates through circulation, children's, genealogy, reference, teen and popular materials departments. It has been in operation since 2005 and is a two-story building. The Columbus Public Library covers an area of more than 90,000 square feet. The library maintains meeting rooms and offers adult circulation materials. It also maintains Aflac Children's Story and W. C. Bradley Memorial Reading rooms. The Columbus Public Library is a part of Chattahoochee Valley Libraries, which operates several book clubs and offers classes kin computer applications.
