Alpharetta dedicated this neigbhorhood park in its goal to bring more recreation opportunities closer to its residents. Located across the street from a pair of subdivisions, it offers a concrete walking path for exercise circling a large open green space for casual recreation. Two pavilions offer shade, while a playground adds fun for the neighborhood children.
City leaders and the Alpharetta Arboretum group established a small arboretum at the park. One of the trees was dedicated to the late John Moskaluk, the former Engineering and Public Works director under whose leadership the department aided Parks and Recreation to develop more parks. A rain barrel demonstration project uses rainfall off of the restroom building's roof to supply water for the park. Additional parking is available at Lowe's.
