RaceTrac Petroleum operates more than 525 retail gasoline convenience stores in 12 southeastern states. A standard RaceTrac gasoline station features 20 to 24 fueling positions and a 4,000-square-foot convenience store that features more than 4,000 items. This represents a remarkable evolution since its beginning in 1934. The company has two distinct operating divisions, RaceTrac and RaceWay. RaceTrac convenience stores are company-owned and operated. RaceWay stores are leased to a third-party contract operator.
