Cherokee High School is governed by the Cherokee County School District. The school, located in Canton, Ga., serves children in grades nine through 12. It provides instruction in a variety of academic areas, including agriculture education, automotive service technology, business and information technology, cosmetology, English, language arts, math, science, social studies and fine arts. Cherokee High School also provides instruction in other areas that include communication technology, engineering, public safety, youth apprenticeship and construction technology. The school offers a wide range of programs for students, such as advanced academic programs, and remedial education and special education programs. It also offers a variety of services and facilities for students, including a career center, scholarships and financial aid, counseling services, student council, clubs, athletic activities, tutoring services and student government.
